The Austrian company with tradition, SUFAG, is considered to be the pioneer on the snowmaking market and, as one of the leading suppliers of fully automatic snowmaking systems, has been providing snow security all over the world for more than 25 years. With the effected takeover of the Gemini brand, SUFAG strengthens its leadership on the market as well as in technology in the snowmaking system branch.

Until now, the strength of the SUFAG group has been explicitly in the domain of snowmaking machines with fan, but they have also invested a lot in the development of competitive snowmaking lances. In order to cover this field even better in the future and to enhance its market and technology leadership, SUFAG has now taken over the Gemini brand as well as the respective palette of licenced products.

In the future, Gemini will be operated as an independent brand of the SNOWNET Group and the experience of Gemini in regard to the construction and development of snowmaking lances shall be incorporated in the competence of the SNOWNET Group. Indeed, SUFAG will not only use the brand and also parts of the technology of Gemini – Grad. Engineer Mr. Gerald Reisenauer, the founder of Gemini, will contribute to the further development of the lances of the SNOWNET Group and share his experience.

An essential point in this takeover is, of course, the further support of the existing Gemini customers.
