Vista Ridge: Ski Hill Expansion 2011

Vista Ridge is undergoing its second phase of expansion (the first being the 2009 lodge expansion).  Vista Ridge is happy to announce that 3 new ski runs will be opening in the 2011-2012 season, along with a second Quad chairlift, which will be instatalled over the summer months.

A new fixed grip quad chairlift has been ordered from Leitner Poma, which will be installed in the spring and summer.  This new lift is designed to operate at a faster speed than our current lift, we envision ride times to the top of the hill to be lowered to 4 mins 45 seconds, significantly faster than our current lift.  Upgrades to the snowmaking system will increase snowmaking capacity by 75%.
