Park City: New High Meadow lift
RESORT IMPROVEMENTS FOR 2018-19
On the heels of historic $50 million investment in 2015 Park City announced plans for another significant investment that will enhance the mountain experience for guests. This three-part investment will debut during our 2018-19 winter season and showcases our commitment to offering the premier family ski and snowboard experience, to being the top Ski and Snowboard School in the state and to being the definitive choice for signature on-mountain culinary excellence that complements the vibrant food scene in town.
The High Meadow lift will be replaced with a detachable high-speed, four-passenger lift as part of the creation of the High Meadow Family Fun Zone. This will be a dedicated learning area for beginners, children, and families. Additional snowmaking through out the area’s gentle slopes will ensure ideal snow surfaces for learning. And a new Candy Cabin will offer guests a sweet treat during a rest break.
Park City Mountain’s iconic Mid-Mountain Lodge will undergo a transformative renovation both inside the lodge and on its large outdoor deck to create a signature mountain and dining experience of relaxed mountain luxury. The new mountain contemporary design of the 120-plus-year-old historic miners’ boarding house will pay tribute to the resort’s history and heritage while creating a welcoming atmosphere that evokes luxury, comfort and warmth. New dining options will reflect the region’s marked notoriety for superb cuisine with chef-driven menus featuring high-quality ingredients and innovative presentation.
Cloud Dine, which was completely remodeled in 2014 as a modern, mountaintop bistro, will gain an additional 200 seats with amazing Wasatch Range views, to increase guest capacity by more than 60 percent. Cloud Dine remains one of Park City Mountain’s most popular dining locations and the new addition will ensure that the guest’s dining experience at the location is elevated to match the superior quality and presentation of the food.
