 Doppelmayr Seilbahnen GmbH Konrad-Doppelmayr-Straße 1 Innovativ, nachhaltig, digital: Doppelmayr Gruppe präsentierte auf der INTERALPIN 2023 die neuen Branchen-Highlights Die INTERALPIN 2023 stand für die Doppelmayr Gruppe im Zeichen der Innovation. Der Weltmarktführer im Seilbahnbau präsentierte nicht nur ein, sondern zwei neue Seilbahnsysteme: die TRI-Line, eine Weiterentwicklung der bewährten Dreiseil-Technologie sowie die 20-MGD D-Line, welche als Einseilumlaufbahn komplett neue Maßstäbe setzt. Die neue CWA-Kabine STELLA verbindet die zwei Welten. Auch im Sinne von SMART Ropeway gibt es zahlreiche Neuheiten: die autonome Sesselbahn, das neue Energiespeichersystem ESFOR, die Seilbahnsteuerung Connect für Pendel- und Standseilbahn sowie die Resort Management Plattform clair wurden auf der größten Messe für alpine Technologien vorgestellt. Rekordverdächtig: TRI-Line Die TRI-Line ist Doppelmayrs neueste und innovativste 3S-Technologie. Sie verbindet die Vorteile des Dreiseilsystems mit denen der Seilbahngeneration D-Line. Das Herzstück des Seilbahnsystems ist das neuentwickelte, achtrollige Laufwerk. In sämtlichen Anwendungsfeldern ist die TRI-Line eine Alleskönnerin: Lange Seilfelder, große Höhenunterschiede, eine hohe Windstabilität und eine unerreichte Förderleistung von 8.000 Personen pro Stunde und Richtung zählen zu ihrer Charakteristik. Und das bei einem geringen Fußabdruck dank kompakter Bauweise. Kraftpaket: D-Line 20-MGD Ebenso leistungsstark ist die neueste D-Line Entwicklung. Mit der 20-MGD hat Doppelmayr ein kosteneffizientes Einseilsystem geschaffen, das insbesondere im urbanen Raum seinesgleichen sucht. Die neuentwickelte Doppelklemme D9000 erlaubt ein Fahrzeug für bis zu 20 Personen. Der autonome Betrieb (AURO) ist auch mit der neuen D-Line Variante möglich. Richtungsweisend: STELLA Die neue CWA-Kabine STELLA legt mit einem Platzangebot von bis zu 20 Personen ihren Fokus auf hohe Förderkapazitäten: Sie bietet einen kompakten und gleichzeitig geräumigen Innenraum. Beidseitige Türen ermöglichen es, den Personenfluss noch einfacher zu lenken und Menschen oder Güter effizienter zu befördern. Die STELLA ist die Kabine für die TRI-Line und D-Line 20-MGD. Autonom: AURO erleben Mit AURO (Autonomous Ropeway Operation), dem autonomen Betriebskonzept für Seilbahnen, hat Doppelmayr bereits 2019 einen Meilenstein für die Branche auf den Markt gebracht. Mit Erfahrungen aus den ersten Betriebsjahren und der Forschungsarbeit bei Doppelmayr wird dieses zukunftsweisende System stetig weiterentwickelt. Nun folgt der nächste Evolutionsschritt: AURO für Sesselbahnen. Mit intelligenten Überwachungstechnologien und „Continuous Learning“ lernt das System aus unterschiedlichen Situationen selbstständig und verbessert sich laufend. Zwei Sesselbahnen in Österreich und der Schweiz sind bereits im Testbetrieb. Energieeffizient: ESFOR Mit dem neuen Energiespeichersystem ESFOR (Energy Storage System For Ropeways) wird selbstproduzierter Strom besser nutzbar und die elektrische Energieversorgung entlastet. ESFOR glättet Energiespitzen und optimiert den Energieverbrauch: Bei der Beschleunigung einer Anlage wird relativ viel Leistung benötigt, danach vergleichsweise wenig. Beim Bremsen kann sogar Strom zurückgewonnen werden. ESFOR kann gewonnene Energie speichern und sie bei Bedarf ganz gezielt wieder einspeisen. Insbesondere mit lokalen Energieerzeugungsanlagen wie Photovoltaik kann ESFOR seine Stärken voll ausspielen. In einem ersten Schritt hat Frey Stans ESFOR für Standseilbahnen und Pendelbahnen entwickelt, zum ersten Mal kommt das System bei der Standseilbahn Sierre–Montana Gare in der Schweiz zum Einsatz. Gesteuert: Connect für Pendel- und Standseilbahnen Seit 2016 sorgt die Steuerung Connect für eine intuitive und übersichtliche Bedienung von Umlaufbahnen. Nun wird ihre Erfolgsgeschichte fortgesetzt: Die Ingenieure von Frey Stans haben das Konzept für den Einsatz bei Spezialbahnen – also Pendel- und Standseilbahnen – weiterentwickelt. Damit gibt es künftig für alle Bahnsysteme der Doppelmayr Gruppe eine einheitliche Bedienphilosophie. Nachhaltig: Branchen-Trends Auf der INTERALPIN 2023 widmet sich Doppelmayr mit dem „Trend Desk“ jenen Themen, die die Seilbahnwelt bewegen. Damit bringt das Unternehmen sprichwörtlich aktuelle Trends auf den Tisch. Im Zentrum stehen drei Schwerpunktthemen: Perfect Flow, Energy Efficiency sowie Regional & Sustainable. Damit lädt Doppelmayr dazu ein, sich gemeinsam zu Konzepten, Ideen und Möglichkeiten auszutauschen und in Diskussion zu treten. Was ist in diesen Bereichen heute bereits möglich? Wie bleiben wir zukunftsfit und welche Entwicklungen zeichnen sich ab? Darauf lieferten die Experten von Doppelmayr am Trend Desk Antworten. Digital: clair Resort Management Die Software clair vereinfacht den Betrieb und die Instandhaltung in Resorts nachhaltig. Als Plattform-Lösung werden die Infrastruktur eines Resorts digital in einer Anwendung zusammengeführt, um den Kundennutzen zu maximieren. Ziel ist eine schnelle und effiziente Übersicht über alle Anlagen und Systeme einer Destination – und nicht nur über die Seilbahnen. Neue Partnerschaften bringen dafür noch mehr Daten ins Spiel: Die Beschneiungsspezialisten TechnoAlpin, der Stahlseilproduzent Fatzer sowie die Experten für Zugangssysteme Skidata und Axess stellen künftig wesentliche Daten in clair zur Verfügung. Die neuesten Features wurden vorgestellt. Gebrandet: Neuer Auftritt Neben all diesen und noch mehr Seilbahn-Neuheiten präsentierte die Doppelmayr Gruppe am Stand A09 einen neuen Markenauftritt und gibt erstmals einen ersten gemeinsamen Ausblick auf eine neue Ära. Eine Gruppe, eine Familie: Die Markenfamilie des Weltmarktführers verdeutlicht die übergreifende Lösungskompetenz, welche das Unternehmen als Komplettanbieter zum zuverlässigen Partner macht. Das neue Erscheinungsbild spiegelt die Dynamik, Modernität und Energie wider, mit der die Doppelmayr Gruppe denkt und handelt. Die internationale Umstellung folgt in den kommenden Jahren sukzessive. Innovative, sustainable, digital: The Doppelmayr Group showcases the latest industry highlights at INTERALPIN 2023 Innovation will be the main theme of the Doppelmayr Group’s presentation at INTERALPIN 2023. The global market leader in ropeway engineering will be showcasing not one, but two new ropeway systems: the TRI-Line, a further development of the proven tricable technology, plus the 20-MGD D-Line, which sets completely new benchmarks as a monocable gondola lift. The new CWA cabin STELLA links these two worlds. There are also a whole series of new developments in the area of SMART Ropeway: The autonomous chairlift, the new energy storage system ESFOR, the control system Connect for use with aerial tramways and funiculars and the resort management platform clair will all be on show at the biggest trade fair for alpine technologies. Record-breaking: TRI-Line The TRI-Line is Doppelmayr’s latest and most innovative 3S technology. It combines the benefits of the tricable system with the advantages of the D-Line ropeway generation. The centerpiece of the ropeway system is the newly developed eight-wheel carriage. The TRI-Line is an all-round talent in every application. Its capabilities include long rope spans, large differences in elevation, high wind stability and an unprecedented transport capacity of 8,000 passengers per hour and direction. And at the same time, it boasts a small structural footprint thanks to its compact construction. Powerhouse: D-Line 20-MGD The latest D-Line development is another top performer. With the 20-MGD, Doppelmayr has created a cost-effective monocable system that is unrivaled in the urban environment. The newly developed D9000 double grip permits a cabin capacity of up to 20 passengers. Autonomous operation (AURO) is also possible with the new D-Line version. Visionary: STELLA The new CWA cabin STELLA with room for up to 20 passengers places the emphasis on high transport capacities. Its interior is both compact and spacious at the same time. Doors on both sides make it even easier to direct passenger flows and to carry people or goods more efficiently. STELLA is the cabin for the TRI-Line and the D-Line 20-MGD. Autonomous: Experience AURO Back in 2019, Doppelmayr set a milestone in the industry with the market launch of AURO (Autonomous Ropeway Operation), the autonomous operating concept for ropeway installations. The experience gained from the first years of operation and the research conducted by Doppelmayr feed into the continuous improvement of this groundbreaking system. The next evolutionary step is about to be completed: AURO for chairlifts. Smart monitoring technologies and continuous learning enable the system to learn from different situations and constantly improve by itself. Two chairlifts in Austria and Switzerland are currently running in test operation. Energy-efficient: ESFOR The new energy storage system ESFOR (Energy Storage System For Ropeways) enables better utilization of self-produced electricity and relieves the load on the power grid. ESFOR levels out peaks and optimizes energy consumption. Ropeways need relatively high power when accelerating and comparatively little thereafter. Energy can actually be recovered when braking. ESFOR can store the recuperated energy and feed it back in a targeted fashion when needed. In combination with local energy-producing systems like photovoltaics, ESFOR can really demonstrate its strengths. Frey Stans has initially developed ESFOR for reversible aerial tramways and funiculars. The system is being used for the first time on the Sierre–Montana Gare funicular in Switzerland. Controlled: Connect for aerial tramways and funiculars Since 2016, Connect has provided an intuitive and clearly laid out control system for operating continuous-movement ropeways. This year, the success story is being continued. The engineers from Frey Stans have developed the concept for use with special ropeways, i.e. aerial tramways and funiculars. This means that in future there will be one harmonized operating philosophy for all ropeway systems supplied by the Doppelmayr Group. Sustainable: Industry trends At INTERALPIN 2023, Doppelmayr will be focusing on topics that move the ropeway world at the Trend Desk. This means the company will literally be putting the latest trends on the table. The three focus areas Perfect Flow, Energy Efficiency and Regional & Sustainable are to take center stage. Doppelmayr invites visitors to exchange views on these concepts, ideas and possibilities and to take part in a discussion. What is already possible today in these areas? How can we stay fit for the future and what developments are emerging? Doppelmayr experts will be present at the Trend Desk to provide answers. Digital: clair resort management The clair software significantly simplifies operations and maintenance. A platform solution is used to bring together the infrastructure of a resort in one digital application in order to maximize customer benefit. The goal is a rapid and efficient overview of all equipment and systems at one destination – and that goes beyond ropeways. New partnerships bring even more data into the equation. In future, snowmaking specialists TechnoAlpin, the steel rope manufacturer Fatzer and the experts for access systems Skidata and Axess will be making key data available in clair. The latest features were presented on Stand A21. Branded: New look Alongside all these and other new ropeway developments, the Doppelmayr Group will be presenting its new brand identity on Stand A09 and for the first time providing a joint outlook on a new era.
